Whether anxiety, in whatever form you experience it, is interfering with things you want to do in life and you feel stuck or whether it is debilitating and has a severe impact on your ability to work, attend school, or interact with friends and loved ones, the clinicians at Sage want to help you live a life that is vital, meaningful and important to you.
We have several options available in terms of the type of therapy offered. These options include individual therapy, multi-time per week individual therapy, support groups and our Evidence- and Mindfulness-Based Anxiety Treatment Program. Many things make our program unique, and if you've ever struggled with behavioral Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), you'll appreciate that we actually teach you how to experience your anxiety differently instead of asking you to just sit with it. ERP can be very helpful for a lot of people, but approximately 20% of the people, after it is explained to them, decide not to enter exposure therapy, and of the people who do enter treatment, approximately 30% of them drop out early. At Sage, our early drop out rate is 7.7%. I encourage you to read the feedback from graduates of the program and their families to get a sense of clients' experience in the program.
Not everyone needs an Intensive Outpatient Program and so we also offer individual therapy. While we have a specialization in anxiety disorders, the clinicians at Sage have a variety of interests and specializations. We offer treatment for eating disorders, depression, relationship issues, job dissatisfaction and performance issues, pregnancy loss issues, body image disturbance, chronic pain, academic performance issues and much more. You'll find a description of each of the therapists and their areas of interest on the AboutUs page.
If you find our services to be of interest, I hope you will contact us to discuss how we might be of benefit.
